I have been in practice over 14 years. I have extensive experience in the treatment of eating disorders and eating issues. I have worked at the inpatient, partial day treatment, and outpatient levels in the area of eating disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns.
I hold an advanced specialization certificate in the mental health trained to assist with anxiety, trauma, mood disorders, and personality disorders.
I also have a solid background and current practice in working with couples and families to achieve healthier relationships and resolve current challenges that get in the way of feeling content.
My approach to therapy is psychodynamic, strategic, and tailored to meet your specific needs. I believe that people who experience challenges in life grow from those experiences and in overcoming their struggles discover their true self. My work as a therapist is that of a change agent. My goal is to help you get unstuck and moving in a satisfying productive direction that allows you to be an active participant in your own life.
