Elizabeth Muenk PsyD LLP

I have been practicing therapy since 2007. In that time, I have gained expertise and experience in the treatment of anxiety, depression, women’s issues, postpartum concerns, domestic violence and anger management, the LGBTQ population, co-occurring disorders, and a variety of personal and familial issues.

My approach to therapy comes from existential, cognitive-behavioral, emotion-focused, and psychodynamic orientation. I work from a depth perspective, where every part of your life is explored to understand your unique experience in the world.  I focus on who you are, who you want to become, and what internal dynamics may be holding you back. While I work with individuals of all ages, my primary focus is women, adults, and adolescents. I strive to make people feel comfortable, work with a measure of humor, and am very down to earth.

I am currently licensed as a Master’s Level Psychologist in the state of Michigan. I value education, experience and training which is why I went back to school to obtain my doctorate in clinical psychology. I am working on my dissertation, which is the last step in obtaining a doctorate in clinical psychology.
