Jeff White, MA, LPC

As a therapist, I do not believe that simply telling you what to do or think will solve your problems. Rather, I see my role as helping my clients understand both their situation and how to change it. Change, while sometimes difficult, is entirely possible, and I have been lucky to be part of this process throughout my career.
I have extensive experience working with adults and adolescents coping with anxiety, panic disorder, depression, eating disorders, trauma, substance abuse and self-harm. I try to tailor my therapeutic approach to each individual, combining aspects of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I have gained this experience working in both outpatient and partial hospitalization settings.
