Life can become overwhelming when anxiety, self-doubt, relationship difficulties, or unhealthy patterns interfere with the way you want to live. You may find yourself overthinking, struggling with your emotions, having difficulty setting boundaries, or feeling stuck and unsure of how to move forward.
My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental. I believe therapy should be collaborative and tailored to you. Together, we can better understand the patterns contributing to your struggles, challenge unhelpful ways of thinking, and develop healthier ways of coping and communicating. While avoiding uncomfortable emotions may provide temporary relief, learning to understand and work through them can lead to meaningful, lasting change.
One of my favorite reminders is, “Nothing changes if nothing changes.” Change can be uncomfortable, but so can staying stuck in patterns that are no longer working for us. Taking the first step can often be the hardest part, and therapy can be a place to start creating something different.
