Micah Dov Adler-Goldsmith MA, LLMSW

I work with adolescents and adults ages 13 and up. My areas of focus include anxiety (including social anxiety), depression, grief and loss, and concerns related to sleep. I approach therapy with the understanding that these challenges can affect every part of a person’s life, and that support should feel thoughtful, respectful, and individualized.
What sets my work apart is that I bring both professional training and lived experience into the therapy space. I have personally navigated many of the struggles my clients face and have worked through them myself. This allows me to meet clients with genuine understanding and compassion, and to tailor treatment in a way that helps them move toward their goals in a focused and meaningful way.
Professionally, I am often described as perceptive and emotionally attuned, with a strong ability to understand different perspectives and get to the heart of what someone is experiencing. Clients also share that I have a good sense of humor, am easy to talk to, and create a comfortable, nonjudgmental environment where they feel safe exploring even the most difficult parts of themselves.
