Our society has taught us and normalized the need to forget, move on, numb out the emotion, find a quick “fix”, and pretend as if nothing happened. In reality, we are left with unresolved emotions, mixed thoughts, and overall dissatisfaction with our day-to-day life. Throughout my therapeutic development and practice, I believe that all our emotions should be recognized, felt, explored, discussed and worked through in order to create peace of mind. Throughout that journey, I am committed to meeting you where you are and sitting with you in your emotions.
Whether you are dealing with trauma, anxiety, or adjustments to significant life changes it is my role to support you. My focus is on building a therapeutic alliance where we can openly acknowledge, discuss, and address difficult experiences, helping you find clarity and resilience. I use an integrative approach that combines various therapy modalities and explore different ways to communicate when speaking feels too hard. I lead my work with humanistic therapy at the forefront and incorporate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Art therapy, and other evidence-based methods to provide tailored support that aligns with your unique needs and goals. I deeply value each individual for who they are and understand that therapy is a personal experience that varies from person to person.
“Feelings are something you have; not something you are.”
